Dalian University of Technology (DUT) is one of the best universities in China in terms of design education, where you can study architecture and industrial design (interior, space, product, etc.). It is consistently ranked around 20 out of 3,000 universities in China. 

During the study abroad program, students can expect to acquire new ways of thinking and design processes, as well as an international outlook, by receiving design education in a different culture than in Japan. China, who is in part of Asian countries, provides a stimulus that is entirely different from that of Europe. As China is becoming increasingly prominent in the international market, the sensibility and perceptions of Chinese students will be an extremely valuable learning experience. 

In the case of short-term study abroad, it is not a problem if you can’t speak Chinese, many teachers can speak Japanese. You won’t have any problem too if you can speak English. Check out our student’s experience for short summer school here.
