Beijing Institute of Technology is consistently ranked around 20th among the nearly 3,000 universities in China. The Department of Industrial Design was established in 1984, the earliest of the design universities in China. You can study architecture and industrial design (interior, space, product, etc.). Beijing Institute of Technology has several Japanese-speaking faculty members who can provide support in English and Japanese in class and everyday life. They offer language training according to your level of Chinese during your study abroad. China is becoming increasingly prominent in the international market and learning about the sensibilities and perceptions of Chinese students is an extremely valuable experience. Beijing is the world’s most advanced city, and many Japanese companies are keeping a close eye on the city’s trends of ICT, infrastructure changes, and the introduction of new business models, which are progressing at a tremendous pace. Studying abroad in such a country and city can foster an international outlook that is different from that of Europe.
