Why did you choose HKU university and what did you find attractive about the university? Although I had no experience in game production, I decided to study at HKU Utrecht because I was interested in working in the game industry in the future and thought that my experience in game production would be useful in my field of specialization. When I actually studied abroad, I found it very appealing that students had the autonomy to create their work, and they created a design in discussion with their teammates. It was also meaningful for me to learn about the flow of team production, as other teams created completely different works under the same conditions, and I was able to follow the differences step by step through midterm reports and other processes.

Why did you choose TH Köln (KISD) and what did you find attractive about the university? I chose Cologne University of Applied Sciences as my study abroad destination because I could select and take design classes in various fields by myself. Students often work on their own projects outside of class, and whenever I went to the school, there was always someone doing research or creating something, which made me feel that the students were highly motivated. I felt that the school had a system in place to support the student’s desire to do whatever they wanted to do, as they could freely use the workshops and other facilities.

I faced many difficulties during my study abroad, but I always managed them with the help of the people around me. If you have any problems regarding your study abroad, please do not keep them to yourself, but talk to people around you. In my case, my sense of values did not change greatly through my study abroad, but I still had many experiences that I could have only gained by studying abroad. I highly recommend studying abroad to anyone who cannot decide if they should go.
