Geiko Help Desk

While starting a new life in a foreign country is exciting, you may also feel uncertain about campus life and daily routines. As an international student, you might have many questions, such as how to complete various university procedures or how to use the student portal site.
To support our international students, we established the “Geiko Help Desk” in October 2024. Our Geiko Supporters are here to help new international students with various questions and concerns about campus life.
Service Period: Approximately two weeks after spring and fall enrollment
Location: Student Affairs Office, 1st floor of the Administration Building
Support Services Include:
● Setting up campus Wi-Fi connections
● Using and configuring university email accounts (including email forwarding)
● Using Campusmate-J (Academic Affairs Information System)
● Accessing and using Moodle (Learning Management System)
● Registering for ANPIC (Safety Confirmation System)
● Assistance with filling out forms for:
– Pension exemption applications
– Dormitory fee automatic payment setup
About Our Systems:
1. Campusmate-J (Academic Affairs Information System) is an online system for managing academic procedures essential for student life, such as course registration, grade checking, and syllabus viewing.
2. Moodle (Learning Management System) is a platform for distributing course materials, submitting assignments, and conducting online tests.
3. ANPIC (Safety Confirmation System) is designed to efficiently check the safety status of organization members during emergencies such as natural disasters.
Our Geiko Supporters do more than just answer questions—they provide warm, friendly support to help new international students adjust to their new environment and make the most of their university life. We encourage you to reach out and connect with us!
