Henan University of Technology

Henan University of Technology is located in Henan Province, China, and was jointly built by the Henan Provincial People’s Government and the State Food Bureau. It is the premier university in China in food and granary design, with 22 faculties, educating approximately 38,000 students.

The Department of Architecture at Henan University of Technology was founded in 1999. In 2015, it passed the national bachelor’s education accreditation assessment in architecture and successfully passed the reassessment in 2019 and 2023. In 2022, it was recognized as a national-level first-class departmental major. The school ranks among the nation’s best architectural designs, mainly grain warehouse design.

The school is located in the city of Zhengzhou in the Zhongyuan region, which has a long history and is one of the origins of China. With the implementation of the “Central Region Rising Promotion Plan,” Zhengzhou was designated as a national central city and is rapidly modernizing. In Henan Province, students can experience the unique inland culture and customs. The School of Architecture is also home to many faculty members who have studied abroad, so English is fine even if you do not speak Chinese.
