We have international students from various countries around the world studying at the Graduate School of Design and the School of Design. Historically, Fukuoka has been a center of cultural exchange between Japan and the rest of Asia. Thus, Kyushu University receives many international students from Asia. They are here as regular students, research students or for the exchange programs. We also have students from European Partner Institutions. Most of them came from France, Germany, The Netherlands, and Italy. Usually, they came here as exchange students between 6 months to 1 year, but we do have some coming here as regular students.
