On Friday, October 24, 2025, we held our Autumn Semester Welcome Party for new international students at Kyushu University’s Ohashi Campus. The event attracted 68 participants, including 44 international students and 24 current students including Geiko supporters, creating a vibrant multicultural gathering.

To help everyone connect and build friendships, we organized icebreaker activities such as Speed Friend games. The event also featured an introduction to international exchange activities, including the newly established Geiko Global Hub and the upcoming Geiko Festival in November, which sparked participants’ excitement about future opportunities for cultural exchange.

Participants enjoyed a wonderful time sharing warm meals provided by Manly, the cafeteria at Ohashi Campus, creating opportunities for making new friends. Geiko International Office continues to provide spaces where international and Japanese students can learn from each other and cultivate meaningful friendships.
