Prospective students

Kyushu University organizes various events for international and Japanese students. In the School of Design and Graduate School of Design, we have KUDOSA (Kyushu University Design Department Oversea Student Association) and Culture Nabe (English Community Space) organizing these events.
International Events

KUDOSA plans and organizes welcome parties for international students twice a year (around May and November), and a New Year’s party in January. KUDOSA also hosts the “Design Festival” at the School of Design every end of November with many international students participating in the festival.

Culture Nabe organizes events for both international students and local students. It serves as a platform for mutual and intercultural exchange between Japanese and international students. They share information on exchange programs between schools and partner institutions, information on TOEFL and related exams, access to English -language newspapers, etc. Also, everyone can enjoy having English conversation. More excitingly, Culture Nabe members also organize events such as Movie Night, Cooking Night, Game Night, Field Trips, etc., where everyone has fun.
